Building a curriculum
The default setting when accessing a curriculum is the view-mode, i.e. the visible curriculum cannot be modified.
Enable modifications
To add courses, you have a enable the "modify curriculum" toggle switch 
. If active, the toggle switch will be blue 
.
Adding courses
Once you are in modification-mode, you see the buttons for adding courses and course clusters.
Clicking on the "Add course unit" button 
will open the following menu
Filtering the course selection
By default, the degree programme that your curriculum is assigned to (see here) is pre-selected. You may add more filters to the course selection:
Degree programme - Select courses offered in a specific ETH degree programme. - Course unit offering type: Select based on the course category (compulsory, elective,...). Offering - Departement: Select the departement which offers the course unit. - Semester: Select the semester the course of offered in (Every semester, Spring semester, Autumn Semester). Attribute - Lecturer: Select a specific lecturer involved in teaching a course unit. - ECTS: Specify the number of ECTS allocated to a course unit.
A full text search field can be used to search for specific courses, either by course name or by course number.

You may click the toggle switch "Show only course units assigned to the curriculum project" 
.
If active, only course units specific to your project are shown. If you have multiple projects, you may select one of your projects from the drop down menu.
The filters can be combined. A maximum of 30 course units are shown at once.
From the shown courses any number of them can be selected by ticking the box behind it. All ticked courses can be added to the selected semester of your curriculum by clicking "Add" 
If all courses from the filtered menu should be added, you can select all courses by clicking on the "select all" button

Adding clusters
When adding courses to a curriculum, they are all added individually. Adding a cluster gives you the opportunity to define a box with a set number of ECTS which can contain multiple individual courses. Only the ECTS of the box will be added to the ECTS of the curriculum.
Clicking on the "Add cluster" button 
will open the following menu
Please specify the following parameters:
- Name [DE] (Required): Enter the cluster name in German
- Name [EN] (Required): Enter the cluster name in English
- Select the amount of ECTS for the cluster from the dropdown menu
- Optionally, activate the toggle switch "Assign color" to specify a color to the cluster
- Optionally, activate the toggle switch "Assign offering type" to specify the offerting type pre (current) and post PAKETH (PAKETH)
Click "Add cluster" to add the cluster to your curriculum.

The cluster can be edited by clicking the edit button in the top right corner of the cluster 
.
Courses can be added to a cluster by drag'n'drop into the cluster.
If many courses are in a cluster, the cluster view can be expanded to visualize more courses in it by clicking the "expand" button 
.
Only the cluster ECTS are added to the semester total, not all individual course units within the cluster.
Moving courses
Courses as well as clusters can be moved up and down within a semester and also between semesters. To move a course, click on the course unit box while holding the mouse button. Now drag and drop the course unit where you want to move it.
Deleting a course unit or a cluster
Both course units and clusters can be easily removed from the curriculum by drag'n'dropping them into the waste bin that appears at the top of the semester column while dragging the course/cluster. IMPORTANT: The course units and clusters that are moved to the bin are only removed from the curriculum. They remain in the CIT data base.
